Well, yesterday as I was eating chard (I found it's easier to eat if you eat it with an orange) I was keeping mind the fact that I could lose a couple of pounds on my first very low calorie diet (VLCD) day. I also made myself some lemonade with stevia and it was REALLY good. I felt really full after drinking two glasses right before bed. I was also amazed how good a ground beef patty can be with raw spinach.
Anyway, that isn't what I really wanted to say. What I really wanted to say is that I woke up very excited this morning hoping to see that I had lost about five pounds (aim high, right?). I know this was a ridiculous goal, but I figured if I set ridiculous goals and I get halfway there, I'm still in pretty good shape.
I went to the restroom as instructed and weighed myself. Yesterday I was 238.
This morning I was 234!
That is freaking COOL! Then I gave myself my morning injection and went on my merry way.
Wow, this kale is sooo delicious. Tastes way better than obesity.
