In its third year of publication, Compete, The Gay Sports Magazine, will begin accepting applications for its 2009 Athlete of the Year.
“We decided to move the announcement date to later in the year to accommodate participants in this year’s Copenhagen Outgames,” says Eric Carlyle, Co-Publisher and CEO. "We’re very proud to have been the first publication to name a GLBT Athlete of the Year and we look forward to continuing the tradition."
