ABCNEWS.com reports that Skate Canada (Canada's figure skating organization) wants to showcase the masculinity involved in figure skating. While many of us may be very well aware of the strength, training and endurance that goes into anything artistic (i.e., ballet), we must also realize that many times, it involves portraying masculinity in an "unconventional" way.
If anything, Skate Canada should focus more on changes people's opinions about what is masculine and what kind of training and pain goes into competing at that level.
